GM Small Block Engine at 100 Million

The small block that played the big role in building GM, has just reached the 100 million mark of production. The small block although throughout the years had a couple of versions of V-6, it is mostly known for its V-8. It is the block that saved the 1955 Chevy Corvette. It also has stepped up and answered the main concern throughout the years when it comes to the engine's fuel efficiency. The small block has been one of the biggest contributors to fuel efficiency.
There are 100 million reasons why this engine block has been around and with the fifth generation version in works now, we are sure there will be 100 million more.
